Emma Grace's first day of First Grade!!!

Can it be that I have a child in the 1st grade already!! So far she loves the 1st grade. Other than E.G Starting school nothing much going on. Will is busy in the field, and getting up early and coming home late. I am just happy to be back in some sort of routine!!

O.k so I know that the post are from forever aago, but was tired of trying to get the blog in order of events. So Really I need to post a few pics from Grad. and our BEACH trip.
We had a great time. It was wild, with & kids, ages 8,7,6,5,3,and (2) 8 month old. So I know nobody was jealous they didn't get to go with us. Wild, wild,wild. But I will say that Rex, and Sally did awesome. Had maybe 2 bad nights out of 7 not bad.
I still can't believe that in a few weeks, E.G. will be in 1st grade. I am feeling sad, and well old. Jake is going through a very whiney stage. It is testing my patience really bad, but we shall get through this also.
Rex and Sally are 9 months old. I am dreading when they learn to walk. Seriously I am. Talk about testing patience. I will say that Sally's first word was..... get ready for it. MOMMA, haha. I got one to say momma, before daddy. Rex has said DADA. O well. They are really wonderful babies. They go to be by 9 and sleep till 9. Jealous much!! I will say that maybe my only thing that I am wondeful at is getting my babies to sleep. Because everyone knows if momma ain't happy ain't nobody happy!! :)
I promise I will try to be better about posting and getting pics up. I am going to try to get some sleep now. The next pics will be of the beach. I think that is the most updated pics of the kids. Have a great week everyone!!!

Sorry that I have been MIA. I have been super busy since all kids are at home with me all day. Emma grace had a end of the year swimming party, (pics to follow). Emma Grace also graduated from kindergarten. It was just a cute little ceremony. They were little red robes, it was very special for me and Will because Emma Grace wore the same one that Will graduated in when he was at SIA. So cute so that is why her's looks different from the other's. Will try to get some pics of that up later.

Memorial Day weekend we had a cookout at the farm with Will's sister and kids. We had a great day and the weather was great, I think that I only took one picture that day. Since all the kids have been home with me, I have me a girl that has graduated and she helps me 2 days a week, so that I can keep my sanity. Well, what is left of it. She is great, she has a little experience since she has 9 other brothers and sisters. Yep, and her momma was an only child. Isn't that crazy. I will be more sad when she leaves probably than her momma.

I have been getting ready for Emma Grace's 6th birthday. I can' t believe that she will be 6 yrs. old. She is growing up way to fast. She is having a flip flop party. We a rerenting a huge water slide. I just hope the weather is good. Her party is next Friday and then that Sunday we leave for the beach. Woohoo, babies and all. It will be a wild trip but I sure we can handle it.

This past week she had Bible school. This is a funny jake story. My mother-in-law was in charge of the music and they had a little time before they went to the next activity and she asked it anyone had a song that they wanted to sing and Jake says yes. He starts singing "She's country", the Jason Aldean song. Haha!!!

So now a funny Emma Grace story!! We will be a the beach on her real birthday, and I told her that we were going to go out to eat that night, and where would she like to go. So she says, " you know the place that has the thing that lights up and vibrate thing that tells you when your table is ready." I told her that there were lots of places like that. She just wants the vibrating thing!! haha!!

Now on to the other babies. They are 8 months old and so fun. They are both on the move so there are no days that are not interesting around this house. Sally, thinks jake is wonderful, he laughs at him all the time. Rex is still laid back and just whatever, but they really are fun.

So we had a wonderful Easter. I feel so blessed to have a happy healthy family. I would not trade all the sleepless night, teenage drama, driving, and going off to college for anything in this world. I love my family.

Sally. Emma Grace and Jake both have one also. They are special because I still have mine that I got from the commissary. It started when my niece was born, that is what I got her for her First Easter and Nana ( will's mom) started buying the all the grand kids one for Easter. She also get them the wooden eggs and has painted on them kind of what they are into that yr. Like grace has a ladybug and Jake has one in a tractor. It has their names and yr on them. So cute, the kids love getting them out when it is Easter time.

6 Months

I really cannot believe that I have 2 6 month old already. They went to the doctor on Monday and had to get 3 shots which for one baby is not bad but when you have it times 2 it really breaks your heart. Although they didn't cry too bad.
They are growing like weeds. Rex is weighing 16.8 and 27 inches long, and Sally is 16.3 and 26 1/2 inches long. We were worried about Sally when she was just born, but she has obviously caught up.

Emma Grace has a Easter egg hunt tomorrow at the farm with her class and I am so excited. Just hope that the rain holds off. Will post pictures. This past Saturday, Emma grace wanted to make something so we decided to make some Easter cards, but my printer started acting funny with the pictures that we took so we didn't get to but I thought that the pictures that I took, turned out pretty cute.

Also, I really can't believe that in 2 months that I will have a 6 yr old, that CRAZY. She is still trying to decide what kind of party that she wants. We will see!!

Rainy Days

It has been raining here and our yard floods on one side, so the kids had a blast playing in the water. The pictures of Jake are so funny because his pants got so wet that they kept falling off and he was getting mad at me because I was taking pictures of him.

Then he fell and told me he could not get up so he just stayed on the ground fussing at me to get him up.

Also, finally got a picture of Rex's teeth. I can't believe that I have one child loosing teeth and one getting them and they are in the same spot. Ha!!

Love that picture of Sally. That is the best kind of baby......sleeping. No really they are both great babies. The lord new that if he was going to give me 4 kids that the last 2 needed to be VERY good babies. They are so happy.

They never fuss unless tired or hungry. Who could ask for more.

Poor little Rex feel asleep in the jumperoo. He loves that thing. He just wants to be upright. I know once he can sit up he will be so happy!!

I CAN'T BELEIVE THAT MY BABIES ARE 5 MONTHS OLD ALREADY. THEY ARE SO FUN BUT THEY ARE SO DIFFERENT. SALLY ROLLS OVER FROM HER BACK TO STOMACH AND REX ROLLS OVER FROM HIS TUMMY TO HIS BACK. THEY ARE EATING VEGGIES, AND SOME DAYS THEY LOVE THEM AND OTHER NOT SO MUCH.

SALLY IS MUCH MORE VOCAL THAN REX. SALLY WILL GRAB FOR TOYS REX, COULD CARE LESS ABOUT MUCH OF ANYTHING. HE IS JUST LIKE JAKE!!

EMMA GRACE HAS LOST ANOTHER TOOTH. SHE LOST 2 TEETH WITHIN A WEEK. SHE MADE $10.00 IN A WEEK. MAYBE IS SHOULS LOOSE SOME TEETH SO THAT THE TOOTH FAIRY WILL LEAVE ME SOME MONEY!!

Valentine's Weekend we stayed in Hernando with Will' cousin's family. We had a blast. We took the kids to the Memphis Zoo. Jake had more fun riding in the stroller. The above pictures are of the cake decorating contest that Gerald and Ali were in Sat. morning. They made a hamburger. Doesn't that look so real. The one the award for most unique. I thought that they did great.

Jake and his New cowboy hat!!

We went to the rodeo Friday night. I left the twins for the first time with someone that wasn't a family member. The sitter and the babies did great. We say lady antebelum(sp), they were great. The kids had a great time, except jake at the beginning when they do these reallt LOUD fireworks. He started screaming and crying saying LETS GO HOME!! it was so sad.

I having been tryiong post pictures of Emma Grace and her doe that she killed, but Blogger has been acting up and not letting me post pictures. The day we got back from the beach Will took Emma Grace hunting and she finally killed a DOE. She was so excited. I think Will and I were more excited about her killing it than she was. Not many 5 year old girls or boys have killed a deer. No she is trigger happy. She wants to kill a buck, but I think that will have to wait until next year. Will was going to take her today, but he is sick. The day before she killed the deer she also killed 2 geese with one shot. That she was excited about because she killed 2 at one time.

Well, we had a great time at the beach. I didn't take my camera because that was one more thing that I would have to pack and I had enough. And, we were not going to be able to go on the beach because it was to cold. We did get out and shop and eat which is always fun. We got back Saturday night and the twins were having the baptism the next morning. Things were crazy but we got there and everything went great. People were crying which I was trying not to. It was just such a special day for us to have all of our friends and family with us. My sister got some great picures of the twins.

So every year, Will's cousin and family come done to hunt and to stay through the new year. We had a blast. All the kids put on a little dance for us New Years Eve. It was pretty funny and the best way to ring in the new yr. I don't think that I have been up past midnight since before will and I got married. So things are getting back to normal. Emma Grace started school today, and she was a little excited about getting back to school!! I was ready to get back to normal. So that's it. O my wonderful husband got me this fabulous laptop that I am typing on now!!

We had a great Christmas beside the fact that my niece had the Flu. We normally have Christmas will my in laws on Christmas Eve, but with my niece being sick, it was just us. It was not fun we missed everybody. It was to calm at Nana's house, we needed the noise. So Nana and Papa went to Jackson to give the Murphy's their Christmas gifts.

So on Christmas day, Nana and Papa came to out hosue on Christmas day to see the kids gifts and to eat breakfast with us. My dad, step mom, and my sister and family came to our house. Well, Christmas day started out great, then Emma Grace feel asleep at about 10:00 that mornign which is not like her at all. So after lunch off to the ER we go which is the only thing that you have when you live iln Small town. I was scared that she might have the Flu since she had been around her Cousin who had the Flu. So we get to the ER and she starts acting fine. She had fever at home and it had gone down by the time we got to the ER. So he did the Flu test, which was negative and then did a strep test, which was negative. So basically I paid about $500.00 for him to tell me she had a cold. But, if i had not taken her she would have had the Flu. Other than eveyone being sick, we had a great Christmas.

Our First Christmas gatherning was the Rutherford Christmas. We usually go to Oxford for the Rutherford's but this year everyone came to the farm. Which was great for us, no driving. It wass great weather, beside a little mud, eveyone had a great time. It is hard for us all to get together at someone's house because Will's grandmother had 26 Great-Grand Children. It was a great day had by all.

Jake turned 3 yesterday. It is hard to believe that he is already three. Will load third birthday pictures soon!! I love this little man everyday. He makes me laugh everyday day, give the best hugs even though he wipes off my kisses and thinks that it is funny!! He loves candy, bubble gum, tractors, and trains. He had a Thomas the train party. He has got to be the sweetest 3 yr old ever, even if I do say so. :)
Forgot to mention. Will was pulling Jake in the wagon at the party and he stood up just as Will starting pulling the wagon and Jake did a back flip out of hte wagon and got the goose egg that you see on his head. It was huge. It was a good thing that I had made the picture appt. that morning instead of afternoon. We would not have taken picture with that big thing on his head!!

I can't believe that they are already a week old. We are all still adjusting. They are eating and sleeping good, so that is great. They go to the Dr. tomorrow and I can't wait to see if they have gained any more weight.

Well, they are finally here. They were born on October 7th. Rex was born at 1:00 and Sally at 1:02 p.m. Everything went perfect. They never had to go to NICU and went straight to the well babies.
Rex was 6lbs 10 oz. and 19 inches long
Sally was 5lbs. 13 oz. and 19 1/2 inches long.
We all came home Friday afternoon. Everything has been an adjustment but we are all doing great. They are eating and sleeping great. Emma grace loves her sister and Jake wants his brother. I will post a few pictures and then try to get some more up later on. Thanks to everyone for all you thoughts and prayers. Will and I really believe that was the reason they we were blessed with 2 healthy, happy and beautiful babies. And that we had such an easy delivery.

Last Doctors Appt.

I had my last doctors appointment yesterday. Everything still looks good and we are still one for Oct. 7th at Noon. I am getting more excited to see what they are going to look like. I just really hope that I do not go into labor since my Dr. will be out of town till Sunday. I have everything washed and ready for Rex and Sally's arrival. Everyone please say a prayer for us because this is going to be such a HUGE transition for our family.

These are from a few weeks ago, during Gustov. My kids would be the only one playing in the rain. The one of Emma Grace riding her bike is a pretty big deal. She learned to ride without training wheels. She was so proud of herself.

I turned thirty yesterday. I can't believe that I am 30, and will have 4 kids. I had a great birthday,not much celebrating since getting very uncomfortable. My mother in law did cook me supper and gave the kids a bath. Anybody that have been pregnant knows that bathing is a big deal. It kills my back , so anytime that I don't have to do it a huge plus.
Went to the doctor yesterday also. Had a sonogram and everything looked great. Rex is weighing 4lbs. and Sally is 3lbs 12 oz. She said that was good that Rex weighed a little more, since he is the male. We picked a date for the twins to arrive. She will take them on Oct. 7th, unless they come early. She seems to think I will make it that far, so we hope so.
I want them to be here, but want them to be the healthiest that they can be, so maybe no long stay in the hospital for them. I will start going to the doctor once a week for now on. Will keep everyone posted. Please say prayers for me, as this is going to be a huge change and challenge.

First Day of K-5

Emma Grace has finally started school. I did not get upset, I guess because she didn't. She was so excited and this will actually be her first full week. They started last Wed. but just a half day and then went all day of Thursday and Friday. Jake and I really don't know what to do with ourselves, but I am sure that I will be able to find something in about 9 weeks.

I can't believe that the twins will be here in such a short time. I have been trying to buy little odds and ends, like clothes, bottles, and diapers. Those kinds of things. It is still very shocking to me to believe that I am going to have 4 kids, and two of those at the same time. Doing everything at the same time. Little bit on the scared, nervous side.

Babies Names

So we finally decided on baby names instead of baby A and B.
The boy is William Rex Rutherford, and we will call him Rex. For those of you who don't know my daddy's name is Rex. The girl is Sally Elizabeth Rutherford, and we will call her Sally. Elizabeth is on both sides of the family, but it was my mom's middle name. It makes me sad to know that my mom was not around to see my four precious children, but I know that she is smiling down on them everyday. I never thought that I would have kids that my mother wouldn't get to enjoy. Well, on to a little happier note........ So there you have it Rex And Sally.

Also, Emma Grace will start school in one week. I know that she is ready and some days I am ready for her to go but others it makes me really sad. She is getting so big. I hope to post pictures of VBS school soon. She had a great time.

I almost forgot. Went to the doctor yesterday and they weighed the babies. Baby boy is 2.6 lbs. and Baby girls is 2.2 lbs. She said even though he is a little bigger it is o.k because it is not by much.
She said everything looked great and that I will start coming every two weeks, which is going to make the last 3 months fly by.

Orange Beach 2008

We had a great time at the beach. By Thursday I was getting a little tired. Will normally tries to come down for a few days but it just didn't work out this year. Jake loved the beach and Emma Grace did to until about the 3rd day. She got stung by a Jellyfish, so she was pretty much down with the ocean after that. This year the jelly fish were really really bad!! We still had a great time! Below are some of my favorite pictures.

This week I have been testing out my new camera. I finally broke down and bought a rebel. I am still learning how to work it, but I do like it. The weather has been hot his week, but there has been a very nice Breeze. So we have been going down to the farm. Hear are a few pics, I took with my camera.

A BOY and a GIRL.
We are so excited. We will have two of each. When we first found out we were having twins, i didn't really want different sexes. But, I have changed my mind. I am so excited. Now, they will have there own little identity and not look alike. It is really like I am having 2 kids just on the same day, not twins. Does that make sense. Everything looked good on the sonogram. Hospital Stay

Saturday Emma Grace had Dance Rehearsal. Her recital was yesterday. Will had Jake at the levee working the cows. Emma Grace and I took lunch out there are ate. Well, On the way home I got sick, and thought well maybe I got to hot. NOPE!! Took a little nap and woke up around 3:00 and did not stop throwing up until we got to the hospital at 7:45. The doctor thinks that I might have had food poisoning. It was a nightmare. Emma Grace recital was Sunday and we go back to Rolling Fork at 12:30, she had to be at the gym at 1:00, dressed. I took shower and we finally got there. But I got no picture, except video. I felt to bad, to do anything. Thank goodness for my Mother-in Law. She got her ready and to the gym on time. I just wanted to see her dance, so at least I got to go. I hate that I did not get any pictures.

Well, we had a very busy weekend. Thursday started out very yucky. We got 7 1/2 inches and when you live in the flat land that is not what you want. We had several fields under water, as well as my back yard.

This is my back yard. The kids have on rubber boots, but they are really pointless.

Jake loves water. It was like Christmas for him. If there is a water hole in the street he wants you yo ride through it. It keep saying, " Watch Jake". He was very funny!! He had a a blast!!

These big nasty worms were all over my yard. I hate these worms!! Yuck

We have 9 new baby pigs. They are so cute. Emma Grace wanted to hold one. So I told her if she could catch she can, but be careful because if it hollers, the momma will come to make sure it is o.k. So you can see the panic in her face. she kept saying HURRY HURRY!! the momma pig won't hurt you but she was scared the pig was going to holler. They were just a few hrs. old and She wanted to bring one home. I told here that is why we have the farm.

How cute are these 3 boys!! Those are my sister's boys. I had to go to Jackson, and the kids and I spent the night at my dad's house. My sister spent the night with me because my dad was at the beach. My dad at the beach?? Haha!! yep, sue has a condo down in Gulf shores, and no we have never been to stay. What is up with that. I would love a little vacation!! the first picture Jake did not have a nap and fell asleep about 6:00, he had just enough of a cat nap not to be cranky when the boys finally got there.

About a month ago, we went out to the levee because we have cows out there and a mama cow had a hurt leg. anyway, when we got back to the farm, Will thought that it would be fun to put the kids in the cows drinking water. How red neck is that. And GROSS , by the way. The kids had a blast and thought it was so fun. So oh well.

Still Sick

I know that it has been forever since I last posted. YEP..... still sick. I am really hoping that is starts to trickle off soon. I thought that I was getting a little bit better but have been sick the past couple of days. We go next week for a DR.Appt. and I am hoping that they will do a sonogram so that I can't find out what they are. I am ready to know . Well, Have a great weekend. I have nothing really exciting to post about, because for the past 2 weeks I have been soooooo sick with this pregnancy. I knew it was coming but it is ten times harder to handle when you stay at home with a 4 and 2 yr. old. I feel so bad for them because they have become so bored. I have no entergy to do anything. My mother in law had to come and get them everyday last week because I was so sick and could not hold down water. I was sick with the other two but this time is really bad. I know that I should not complain, but I really don't like being pregnant. I am not one of those women that love being pregnant. I just am so sick for so long. I also know that even though this was a complete surprise, I should be thankful. There are so many women that want babies and can't have them for whatever reason. God has already blessed us with two beautiful children and I know that I should stop complaining. Just needed to vent for a little bit. Take care everybody!!!

Hi Everyone!!
Well, can you believe that we actually got SNOW!! It started snowing and I thought we are not going to get very much and if it does it won't stick. Well, I was wrong, we still had a little bit this morning but it is gone now. It stayed a long time because it was snowing so hard for a long time, wasn't really cold enough to last real long on the ground. The kids had a blast, Jake didn't like it very much it kept blowing in his face and would get into his mouth and it was just to cold for him. The wind was blowing so hard is what made it cold but i got some good picture and video. I still need to learn how to do the video, not sure how to do that yet. Enjoy!!

You have baby chickens hatching in your house. YES, we have baby chickens in our house. that is a picture of the baby chick are few hrs. old. There were 4 eggs but only 2 hatched or Emma Grace says "Patched." Well, we keep the chicks in the old rabbit cage because the rabbit has new home outside. We decided it was time to take them to the farm to live, well.......
they died. We guess it got to cold, but Emma Grace's thinks they are still there. We could tell her since she has seen her share of animals that have died. You just don't get attached to out farm animals because they just don't always live. I know no more city in me.
So now E.G wants to hatch baby ducks. We thought it would be fun for her and Jake to see this. Well, after we order the incubator we did not know how much eggs would cost. It is $50.00 for 12 duck eggs and that is not a guarantee that they will hatch. I mean Please. We got the chicken eggs from a momma hen at the farm. We told her she could save her money if she wants to buy them. She has been working hard for some money. She already has $15.00. We will see I will keep you posted on the egg situation!!

I know that it has been forever since I have posted. This house has been contaminated with the stomach virus. We have all had it and the kids have had the croup (spelled). My kids don't get ear infections we get the horrible cough where they can't breath. They got this from me, I still get it. So , things are moving along here in the BIG RF. We have had a few things going on.
We did get to go to the rodeo, and that was lots of fun. Jake had a great time except for the loud fireworks. He didn't like that so much. The band that played that night was Little Big Town and they all signed Emma Grace's cowgirl hat. She has an awesome hat. WHY you ask? Well, dierks bentley has signed it and Jamie Oneal and the famous Liseal. I have no idea how you spell that clowns name, but he is awesome. I have decided just to keep taking her hat to the rodeo every year and get the entertainment to sign it. We sit in the same place every year and it is right above where the band enter to the stage. I am way more into it than Emma Grace. I am so Star struck. HEHE!!

I forgot to mention the 4-H show we had down at the farm. Lester Spell came and for those who don't know who that is, he is the commissioner of Agriculture. I thought it was very nice of him to be there to support the 4H organization!! They let the little ones show goats and sheep. the judges pretend to judge them, but they all get ribbons. Emma Grace loves it, and last yr. she made the front page of the RF paper. You are big time if you make the paper. HEHE!!

Better Late than Never

This is from Christmas Eve. He didn't even make it through the Christmas service. He had just a big day. We open Presents at Nana and Papa's house ( Will's Parents)!

I know it is a little past Christmas, but I had to post a couple of pictures from Christmas morning. Santa brought Jake a John Deere tractor and Emma Grace an Enchanted Princess Vanity Set. The princess's actually show up in the mirror and talk to you. How FUN!!! She loves it!!!!
Oh!! By the way, if you notice the HUGE Bump on Emma Grace's Head. That is from the Sat. before Christmas. She and Will were throwing a Frisbi, (not sure how to spell that). Well, he threw it and it hit her right between the eyes, this Frisbi was not normal. It was hard as a brick around the edges. It has been 2 weeks since it happened and she still has a black eye. Is was really bad.

Hey, I know that it has been a long time. There has not been to much going on in small town USA. We had a great Thanksgiving and we are preparing our house for Christmas. We have been reading Christmas books at bedtime and our favorite right now is The ELf on the Shelf. This is a great book. It is written by a mother and daughter about an elf that sits on your shelf and every night he flies away to report to Santa on whether you have been good or bad. . Then in the morning he comes back but he is in a different spot and you must try to find him. Also, you can't touch him ( wink wink) It has been fun watching Emma Grace and Jack, mostly Emma Grace looking for him in the morning. Also, you can go on the web site and register your elf after your name him. It has also cut down on the word NO at our house. HAHA!! If you haven't seen this book you really must get it. Yesterday we had Jake's 2nd party on the farm. We had a John deere tractor party (of course). We had a great time. We cooked hot dogs, went on a hay ride. The best part was the dirt pile. I had bought some little tractors to put in the dirt pile and the kids had a blast Very cheap entertainment!!! I don't have any picture of present time, because with the time changing it started to get dark when we were eating cake and ice cream, so we opened them at home. We know have every tractor that they probably make. He loved everything!! the cake was my favorite I thought that is was so cute and it is very good. The lady has done the last 3 cakes that I have needed and I have loved them. Emma Grace's 4th cake she made it into a castle. Soooo Cute. Jake actually turns two on Wednesday and then we do it all again this Saturday for my sister's twin boys. The are having a tonka truck party. Have a great week. I just had to show the princess castle cake!!

Emma Grace's wig had already come off and it is just sitting on her head!!

O.K. So it has been a very long time since my last post. Things have been crazy with Will picking Cotton which means I get very little if any help during this time of the year. Makes for very long days. Also, two weeks ago Emma Grace got the stomach virus and the 4 days later I got it and then the day after I got it Will got it. I think the only plus is that Jake did not get it and I got sick at a good time( if there is every a good time0 but it had rained for about 3 days which meant will had the kids for 2 days in the house. Will being in the house longer than 3 hrs about kills him so you can imagine that he was going stir crazy.
Of course, I am thinking you are only getting a taste of what Stay at home moms do everyday. But really, He works extremely hard and I would not be able to SAH with my kids if not for that.
Well, I hope everyone had a safe Halloween. Emma Grace was Daphne and Jake was Scooby Doo. I thought they were soooooo cute. We had a great time. You know you are from the south when your father-in-law hitches a trailer loaded with hay to the polaris and we trick or treat around town. Forget walking with 2 kids and making sure they don't get run over. We had a great time. Jake would say trick or treat about halfway up the driveway and then get to the door with sucker in mouth and say "BAG". He just want the Goods. We have candy for days.
It is a good thing that Jake's 2nd Birthday party is Sunday because all the kids will be getting tons of candy in their goody bags. Well, I guess that is about it. Promise to do better about blogging. Take Care!!!!

After he fell in the mud puddle!

I forgot about these pictures that I took last weekend at the farm. We cooked out at the farm for Will's sister birthday. Needless to say it rained. We ended up eating in the house and then the kids played in the puddles. Jake is all boy. His favorite thing to do at the farm is to push all the toy tractors that are down there. He will go off by himself (within watching distance) and just push tractors all over the farm. He does not have a care in the world.
He has been sick this week. I had a horrible cough and sore throat that I guess he got, but he did have a low grade phenomena. Not bad enough to be in the hospital. Wheww!!
Note to all Mothers: If your child has never had an x-raybefore, be so grateful. It was the worst thing that I had to do. I started crying because my little boy was in this capsule thing and I had to hold his arms up while he was looking at me and thinking, why are you keeping me in this thing. I hope I never have to do that again. I hope everyone has a great week!!! :)

We Have a New Addition.........AGAIN

Jake and Cinco

Well, We have a new puppy. Let me give you a background on the Rutherford animals. For anyone one who has a weak stomach or don't like to hear about animals dying then do not read the following. Will and I have been married 6 yrs. and we have had 5 dogs. YEP 5. Is that not sad. The first of the dogs got into poison, the second got shredded in a cotton shredder, her name was ABBY and she was really my first child but we will move on the the next one. Susie #2, the very first dog was a susie also. Well, shejust disappeared one day and we never saw her until today. There is a farm house at the farm and Will had to crawl under the house and well, there was the dog. Been dead two years. YUCK. Next dog was Reb short for Rebel. Will name that dog and I never understood since we both went to Miss. State. She died about 2 months ago when it was so hot from a heat stroke.
So we are know on dog number 5. The dogs name is CINCO, that is 5 in spanish. I hope that you all don't think we are awfull to our dogs, we just have very bad luck with LABS!! So maybe cinco will live longer that 2 yrs.

Maybe my next post will be a little more upbeat, and not so sad.

P.S To Susie L. : The name Susie is some kind of name for a duck or bird something, which is why will named her that. I thought he just liked the name Susie. :)

Joining the Blog World

So Finally decided to join the blogging world. I am still trying to get the hang of this, so you will have to bear with for a while. I love checking my friends blogs and so I thought it only fair to start one myself.
Not much going on around here in small town USA. Will is trying to finish up with harvesting, but the weather is not being very helpful. And, about 3 weeks ago the combine that we had just bought burned to the ground and my son was on it. the thing went up in flames about 30 seconds before Jake got off. So that was not fun.
